Životní příběhy ročníku 1924. Lidský osud v dějinách 20. století (Life Stories of the Birth Year 1924: Human Destiny in the History of the 20th Century)

Com­piled by Dana Musilová and pub­lished in 1996, this book is the sec­ond vol­ume of his­tor­i­cal and bio­graph­i­cal research from the Insti­tute of Con­tem­po­rary His­to­ry of the Czech Acad­e­my of Sci­ences. It is part of the research project ​“Czecho­slo­va­kia 1945 – 1967.” The book con­tains eight life sto­ries of peo­ple born in Czecho­slo­va­kia in 1924. 

The data was col­lect­ed in the form of inter­views con­duct­ed by Nina Pavelčíková from the Insti­tute for Con­tem­po­rary His­to­ry of the Czech Acad­e­my of Sci­ences and by Mar­ián Gaj­doš and Anna Jurová from the Insti­tute of Social Sci­ences of the Slo­vak Acad­e­my of Sci­ences. The inter­views were pub­lished in their orig­i­nal form or with min­i­mal edi­to­r­i­al changes.
