Milena Hübschmannová (ed.): „Po židoch cigáni.“ II (After the Jews, the Gypsies II)

Manuscript in preparation for publication

The book Po židoch cigáni (After the Jews, the Gypsies) is the most extensive and coherent collection of Romani memories of World War II to date. It was compiled in the 1970s under the direction of Milena Hübschmannová and is named after a contemporary guardist slogan that eloquently reflects the atmosphere of persecution and racial violence. The publication is divided into two parts; the testimonies contained in the second part focus primarily on the period from the suppression of the Slovak National Uprising until the end of the war. The book is being prepared for publication, and the bibliographic data will be specified later. We would like to thank the editors for the opportunity to work with the manuscript of the publication.
