Anež­ka Klau­dová (1925) just after the war. She was born into a mixed fam­i­ly in a long-set­tled Roma com­mu­ni­ty. The fam­i­ly was tak­en to a col­lec­tion point, but only her 20-year-old broth­er was tak­en away. He died in Buchen­wald con­cen­tra­tion camp.

The inter­view with Anež­ka Klau­dová was con­duct­ed by the Muse­um of Romani Cul­ture in 2001 and 2003. The infor­ma­tion also comes from a research report and from Hele­na Danielová’s book, Mem­o­ries of Romani Women, Roots I, pub­lished by the Muse­um of Romani Cul­ture in 2002.
