Milena Tučná

Mile­na Tučná grad­u­at­ed from the Fac­ul­ty of Arts at Palacký Uni­ver­si­ty in Olo­mouc, then worked for sev­er­al years at the J. A. Come­nius Muse­um in Uher­ský Brod and at the Olo­mouc Music The­atre. After 1989, she gained exten­sive edi­to­r­i­al and edi­to­r­i­al expe­ri­ence (includ­ing proof­read­ing) in the media (rang­ing from the fort­night­ly Scé­na to the dai­ly Mladá fronta Dnes to Týden and the mag­a­zine Reportér) and in the pub­lish­ing indus­try (books — fic­tion, trans­la­tions and spe­cial­ist lit­er­a­ture). In 2001 – 2007, she was edi­tor-in-chief of the pub­lish­ing hous­es Pros­tor and Abo­nent. She also con­tributed to the cre­ation and con­tent of the web­sites of the Nation­al Her­itage Insti­tute, the Fac­ul­ty of Archi­tec­ture of the Czech Tech­ni­cal Uni­ver­si­ty and Char­i­ty Czech Republic.
