Nálepka, Ján

Ján Nálep­ka (1912−1943) – as an offi­cer in the army of the Slo­vak state he defect­ed to the Rus­sians on the East­ern Front and became com­man­der of the 1^st Czechoslo­vak par­ti­san unit in the USSR. He was killed in the bat­tle for Ovruč. In memo­ri­am pro­mot­ed to brigadier general.
