Kostivárna

Kos­tivár­na – a tem­po­rary hous­ing estate also called U kos­tivárny was built grad­u­al­ly near the spodi­um fac­to­ry in Brno-Cer­novice. Accord­ing to the 1930 cen­sus, it con­sist­ed of 25 emer­gency dwellings with 103 inhab­i­tants, most­ly Roma. In 1943, the local Roma were deport­ed to con­cen­tra­tion camps.
