Klaus, Václav

Václav Klaus (1941) – econ­o­mist and politi­cian. In Decem­ber 1989, he became Min­is­ter of Finance and then Deputy Prime Min­is­ter of the Czechoslo­vak Gov­ern­ment, from 1992 to 1998 he was Prime Min­is­ter of the Czech Repub­lic and from 2003 to 2013 Pres­i­dent of the Czech Republic.
