Gottwald, Klement

Kle­ment Gottwald (1896−1953) – com­mu­nist politi­cian, from 1929 until his death Gen­er­al Sec­re­tary of the Com­mu­nist Par­ty of Czecho­slo­va­kia, Prime Min­is­ter in 1946 – 1948 and then Pres­i­dent of Czecho­slo­va­kia (1948−1953).
